Domains
A domain name is a unique name that identifies an Internet site, such as kadampa.org or tharpa.com.
Domain names are “leased” from a Domain Registrar for periods of 1 – 10 years. If a domain “lease” expires, anyone can then buy that domain name and use it for their organization.
NKT currently maintains around 100 domain names that are used for core sites, intro sites, and other purposes. NKT Centers maintain another 500 or so domain names that are used for individual center sites.
